Project Management

The procedure will take the form of Patina™ taking responsibility for the provision of a turnkey operation which will be implemented without disruption to Facilities or Production.

Patina™ will in due course invite a number of contractors to tender for the installation work having had prior discussions with the client in the event that there is a preference as to whom the electrical contractors may be.

Patina™ will decide on the most applicable contractors and the decision will not be strictly based on costs. The contractors will be awarded the contract and will work totally in compliance with Patina™'s agenda.

Patina™ will set out a work schedule on an approach which will be adopted in full by the nominated contractor. Typically this approach will take the form of commencing work in one area and until this area is fully audited and ratified no further advances will be made. A duration schedule will be set up so that the implementation will be as per specified in the proposal.

All installation alterations will be in complete compliance with Patina™'s instructions to contractor and in accordance with present legislative electrical crafts standards.

Patina™ will ensure that all sub-contractors are fully indemnified in addition to the Public and Professional indemnity provided by Patina™. All relevant revenue documents will be in order.

The installation work will be carried out in accordance with the Safety Health & Welfare at Work Act, in particular with regard to access equipment, storage facilities etc., and will be enforced in the form of qualified personnel who are registered accordingly.

After prior discussion with client, all existing lighting equipment removed from site will be placed in a steel container for removal, with the exception of light sources, unless otherwise specified.

For environmental reasons, all light sources, as mentioned in the proposal, will be disposed of in a controlled manner as set out by Patina™. As this is now legislation there will be no breach of Patina™'s requirements.

Patina™ will provide working drawings, daily assessments, and twice weekly visits to site. All instructions, supervision and authorisation on behalf of contractors will be provided through Patina™'s offices. No contact, unless otherwise specified, will occur between contractors and client, the purpose of this is self evident.

Patina™ will liaise with all production and maintenance staff so that all parties are familiar with the retrofit procedure.

On completion of the entire project a maintenance schedule will be drafted so that the client can maintain the efficiencies and design criteria affected by Patina™'s proposals.

All project work carried out in accordance with Patina™'s instructions carries a warranty period of 24 months. Lighting equipment specified and installed under Patina™'s project management will carry a warranty period of 3 years with the exception of light sources.
